READ THIS BEFORE PLAYING:

Welcome to Count Down's Day, a puzzle game where your movement options change every turn! This game can be played using the arrow keys on a computer. Each level, there is a countdown that starts at 5 and goes down to 1 before looping back, with the countdown going down by 1 every move you make. Each number on the countdown has a different movement action that Count Down can take:

5: Count Down can move horizontally or vertically one space

4: Count Down can move horizontally or vertically one space OR Hammer in a stake 1 space away from him

3: Count Down moves diagonally in any of 4 directions

2: Count Down can move horizontally or vertically one space

1: Count Down transforms into a bat and moves 2 spaces if he is able to, or moves 1 space if he is unable to move twice. If he moves 2 spaces, he can get rid of garlic if he passes over the space a garlic is in.

Additionally, if you get stuck in a level, you can press the Escape key on your keyboard to restart the level.

Each level, you need to collect a key and then travel into the portal to the next level.

You will encounter stakes, garlic, and camera carts in some of the levels. Stakes can be hammered in but are unmovable and block Count Down's movement into their tiles. Garlic causes Count Down to have to start the level again. Camera carts can be pushed either horizontally or vertically by Count Down, depending on their orientation.

Have fun!
